'The simplest advice is often the most effective. Can you articulate a clear and decisive picture of your business in 3-5 years? In 2019 I asked a group of regional business owners in a planning session to take ten minutes to draw a pictorial version of their business in 2025. (Pre COVID). Not one was able to demonstrate an understanding of the future vision that would entice clients, staff and stakeholders to become engaged in or get on board (On the bus as we have all heard before).
